Datenschutz.

Stand: 4. Oktober 2026
Kein Konto, keine Auswertung
Was auf Ihrem Gerät bleibt
Ranglisten (Game Center / Google Play Games)

SWARM creates no account, and we run no server for the game. The only things that leave the device are what Google AdMob needs to serve an ad, what Apple or Google need for a purchase — in Europe, ads only after you have decided in the consent dialog.
No account, no analytics
SWARM requires no sign-in and creates no user account. We run no analytics of our own, no crash reporting and no server for this game — so there is nowhere on our side where data about you could arrive. There is no cloud save; the online leaderboards are optional and run through Game Center or Google Play Games (see below).
We do not learn how you play or how often. What leaves the device goes to Google AdMob for advertising, to Apple or Google for a purchase and — only if you are signed in — to Game Center or Google Play Games for the leaderboards; all of it is described below.
What stays on your device
- Progress: unlocked worlds, best scores (including your best score and biggest swarm for the leaderboards) and the number of runs played (it controls when ads may appear).
- Unlocked species, mutations and light.
- Settings for sound, music, vibration and language.
- Which purchases you have made (the purchase tokens confirmed by the store) and your answer in the consent dialog.
This data lives in a save file in the app's protected storage on your device and is removed when you delete the game. We have no access to it.
Leaderboards (Game Center / Google Play Games)
SWARM has two online leaderboards: best score of a run and biggest swarm of a run. They run through Game Center (iOS) or Google Play Games (Android). Signing in there is optional and runs entirely through Apple or Google; we never see your password or your Apple or Google ID. If you are already signed in on your device, the game signs you in automatically at launch; without signing in, the game is fully playable.
Only while you are signed in does the game submit your two best values (two numbers) to Apple or Google. There they are linked to your player ID and your display name and avatar (Game Center alias or Play Games profile), and Apple or Google build the leaderboards from them — for today, this week and all time. Apple or Google manage the player ID, display name and avatar; we neither receive nor store them, and we do not store the leaderboards ourselves.
Apple's privacy policy (apple.com/legal/privacy) and Google's privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy) govern this processing. You manage your profile and your leaderboard visibility in the iOS Game Center settings or in the Play Games app, where you can also sign out.
Advertising
The game is free and shows Google AdMob advertising in return: occasionally an interstitial ad between runs, and optional rewarded ads you start yourself to receive an in-game reward.
To deliver an ad, Google processes data from your device — the advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android), device model and OS version, the IP address and how you interact with the ad. That data goes to Google, not to us; Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy governs it.
If you would rather not see ads, a purchase (“Remove ads”) turns them off. After that no interstitial ads are loaded; the optional ads remain available as an offer.
Your consent in Europe
In the European Economic Area, Switzerland and the United Kingdom, the game asks on first launch — through Google's User Messaging Platform — whether your data may be used for personalised advertising. The ads SDK does not start until that dialog is finished.
If you decline you still see advertising, but it is not personalised. The game remains fully playable; consent is not a condition of playing. You can change your decision at any time in the game's settings under “Privacy settings”.
App Tracking Transparency on iOS
On iPhone, Apple's system dialog asks whether the app may track you across apps and websites owned by other companies. Only if you agree there may advertising use your advertising identifier (IDFA).
If you decline, no IDFA is read and advertising is not personalised. You can withdraw your decision at any time in the iOS settings under “Privacy & Security → Tracking”.
Purchases
There are purchases: “Remove ads”, a species pack, a starter bundle and light packs. They are handled entirely by Google Play Billing or the Apple App Store (StoreKit 2). Every offer shows exactly what it unlocks and what it costs beforehand.
We receive no payment data — no card number, no address, not your name. The game only stores the purchase tokens confirmed by the store on your device and asks the store which purchases belong to your account. Purchases come back automatically after a reinstall on Android, and on iPhone through “Restore purchases”.
Vibration
The game can vibrate briefly on certain events. Nothing is transmitted for this. You switch vibration off in the game's settings.
Children
SWARM is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. Because the game shows advertising and offers purchases, we recommend the device's own restrictions for younger children — Screen Time on iOS, Google Family Link on Android.
Your rights
Since we store nothing about you, there is nothing for us to disclose and nothing to delete. Everything the game knows about you sits on your device: delete the app and it is gone. If you signed in for the leaderboards, your best values additionally live in your Apple or Google account; manage and delete them there directly (Game Center or Play Games settings). You can also reset your progress yourself in the game's settings.
Towards Google and Apple you can exercise your rights directly: reset or delete the advertising identifier in your device settings, or switch personalised advertising off there entirely. We are happy to answer questions about this policy by email.
